Keeping Your Memory Alive: Happy Birthday Dad (March 21, 2018)

Happy Birthday Dad

This year I wanted to share memories of my dad with the world wide web. Although he is gone, he will never be forgotten by me, and many others. I don’t want to forget about it or forget about him. I want to remember him and share the love I have for him with you. I want you to know how special he was to me and his friends and family. If he was alive he probably wouldn’t want to be on the web but now that he’s gone, I can share him with you so you remember his name, remember the memories, and remember how special he was to me.

He didn’t like a lot of fanfare because he was a private man but he’s going to get some from me. I spent some quality time with my dad before he passed on September 14, 2001 and it was some of the greatest moments in my life despite the difficulties as he battled health issues. He shared a lot of great insight that to this day is still etched in my head, in my being. He turned into a healer of sorts for me and I value the time I spent with him. He was kind, he was a genius, and he was emotionally intelligent. I realized I am my father’s daughter in every way.

He was such a cute kid:

He loved to play music:
