Dear Lee,
Thank you for being so good to me through all the ups and downs. I promise you that I will do everything in my power to take care of us and our beautiful futures. Thank you for leaving Active Duty Air Force to be with me here in Maine. Thank you for helping me while I adjusted to a relationship with a man, a man I love. You gave up 13 years of Active Duty for me. And I risked my military career when I asked for help but I wouldn’t change a thing. Because quality of life with you is way better than anything the military could have given me. I chose us when I chose you.
